My website address is: http://www.matthorne.co.uk. I’m a social media marketing consultant and content creator based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, which is in the UK.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: . After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Third parties
I use web beacons and pixels provided by third parties like Facebook and Twitter to show you relevant and “targeted advertising” through other companies’ sites, like Facebook, Google, Snapchat or Twitter. MailChimp
I use MailChimp for my contact form. By submitting the contact form your details will be passed to MailChimp’s servers where they will keep it securely as per their privacy policy. If you would prefer not to use the contact form, you can get in touch by emailing matt at matthorne dot co dot uk.
